PMI Melbourne Chapter

The Melbourne Chapter serves the state of Victoria and was initially formed in 1995. It has some 1,400 members. The chapter is known for its flagship programs like Mentoring, PM4L, PMDoS, and our pioneering initiatives like the PMI Agile SIG AP, Rising Leaders, WIPM, and BE SIG, which have helped us evolve and lead from the front.

PMI Sydney Chapter

The principal activities of the association during the financial year were to provide the opportunity for our members to network with peers in the profession, increase their professional and personal skills, keep up-to-date with trends in the industry, explore the volunteering experience, contribute to the community, and have a local representation of the global Project Management Institute organisation (pmi.org).

PMI Singapore Chapter

The society was formally established on 1 April 1999 when it was registered with the Registrar of Societies Singapore. A Protem Committee led by Dr. Yeo Khim Teck applied to PMI and got approval for the Chapter to be chartered and drafted its Constitution. The first Annual General Meeting of the PMI Singapore Chapter was held on 21 March 2001. This AGM adopted the Constitution of the Chapter and formally launched the operation.

Currently, there are over 2000 members registered with PMI as Singapore Chapter Members.

PMI Vietnam Chapter

PMI Vietnam Chapter was found in November 2018, PMI Vietnam Chapter advocates ethical and professional standards for project management across all industries. We embody a global movement nurturing good practice, accountability, and agility for our profession. With approximately 200 professionals working on project, program, and portfolio management, our dedicated and talented practitioners deliver immense value to local organizations, businesses, and the wider community.

PMI Colombo Sri Lanka Chapter

​PMI Colombo Sri Lanka Chapter's objectives include: 1) To help develop project management professionals in Sri Lanka; 2) To facilitate the Project Management Professional [PMP] Certification process: PMP Exams conducted in Sri Lanka twice a year; 3) To promote project management as a key profession and to increase awareness about the importance of project management in organizational success in the public and private sector organizations; 4) To take forward project management in Sri Lanka to world class standards. 5) To become a recognized professional body committed to developing project managers.

PMI Pune Chapter

PMI Pune-Deccan India Chapter is one of the youngest and fast growing and award winning PMI Chapters in the world. We have thousands of  registered Project Management Professional members. We were able to set up a Large professional community membership comprising of 10,000 members through several media channels . We are know for innovative program initiatives and activities.

The PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter (PMILOC), with a robust membership of over 3,400 professionals, proudly serves as the local representation of the global Project Management Institute (PMI). Since its inception in 1999, PMILOC has been a key contributor to the project management community, promoting globally recognized methodologies that ensure project success. As part of PMI’s worldwide network, which offers valuable certifications, professional development opportunities, and cutting-edge resources, PMILOC connects local professionals with a vast global community.

 

As the chapter celebrates its 25th anniversary, PMILOC continues its commitment to fostering innovation, supporting professional growth, and shaping the future of project management in the region.
